The web-based administrative system for fishing permits, fishing rights, and ship registration is a comprehensive solution serving multiple purposes for Faroese ministries.
The Ministry of Fisheries and the Ministry of Environment, Industry & Trade, together with their affiliated departments, use the system for central administration of all national fishing permits, for fishing rights, and for ship registration, including mortgage information in the Faroese ship registry.
The solution is designed to differentiate between users and user rights, enabling different departments within the ministries to use the system for different purposes. This multi-purpose solution also features a webpage displaying all public information regarding the registries.
Integration with several other external national registries is incorporated into the system.
